Band of the Carabinieri Corps
Winner of the Apoxiomeno International Award - Art section 2018
This book, through images, tells the story of one of the most renowned Italian excellences in the world.
It consists of two photographic works:
In Concerto and Bianco Rosso e Blu.
In Concerto is a black and white reportage created by spending an entire day following the Carabinieri Band. From dawn to night, from the departure from the Carabinieri Cadet Legion to the concert in Sabaudia.
Bianco Rosso e Blu portrays the Band's maestros in the classic style of color portraiture.

Via Crucis - The Way of Suffering
Via Crucis - The Way of Suffering is a fine art edition printed in a limited edition.
The work is based on the fourteen stations that make up the Via Crucis.
For narrative consistency of the images (also in relation to the means available), I decided to draw from both the stations of the traditional Via Crucis and those of the biblical Via Crucis.
To the fourteen stations, two significant passages from the Gospel of Luke that testify to the resurrection of Jesus have been added. Another narrative license was to depict the meeting between Mary and Jesus with the latter without the patibulum, even though the station of Simon of Cyrene is the next one.
From a historical accuracy perspective, a great deal of research was carried out. Garments, uniforms, armor, sandals, jewelry, and accessories were chosen or specially made so that no element in the frame appears historically incorrect.
